Moab: History
The deserts surrounding Moab provide the world with one of the most dramatic pages in natural history. The Morrison sandstone deposits contain the remaining traces of the history of the dinosaurs and the towering sandstone walls contain the petroglyphs made by the first inhabitants of the area.
