  Dead Horse Point is on State Route 313, 18 miles off Highway 191 near Moab. The park has an interpretive museum and a 21 unit campground.

  The BLM has a page on recreation opportunities in and near Moab. The site lists trails, camping areas, petroglyph sites along with information on river recreation and OHV. The site includes permit information and regulations.

  This regional museum tells the story of Moab and Grand County's past, from prehistoric and Ute Indian artifacts to the explorations of Spanish missionaries.

  Visit Hole N The Rock, a most unique home, carved out of a huge rock in Utah's Canyonlands Country. This historic 5,000 square foot home and unusual gift shop and trading post are open all year.

  Organization runs three races a year. The Canyonlands Half Marathon takes place in March. The Other Half in October and the Winter Sun 10k run takes place in December.
