Youth Garden Project

The Youth Garden Project is an initiative to introduce students and the Moab Community to organic gardening.

Moab does not have a great deal of arable land. The available arable land is prime for organic gardening techniques. With boat loads of rich tourists flocking to Moab restaurants desiring fresh Southwestern cuisine, it makes a great deal of sense for Moab farmers and gardeners to concentrate their efforts on growing the fresh organic products that score top dollars at the market.

One of the most visual contributions to the community is the weekly Farmer's Market that takes place at Swanny River Park June through October.
